In marginal costing, closing inventories of work in progress or finished goods are valued at marginal (fixed) production cost.  

A．主语的重要性。汉语中句子主语在形式上可有可无，英语句子必须有主语。
B．主语的准入资格。汉语句子的主语可以是任何语言单位（词、短语、句子）、任何词性；英语句子的主语只能是名词性语言单位。
C．汉语句子的主语通常是有灵主语；英语句子的主语既可以是有灵主语，也可以是无灵主语。
D．主语的长短。汉语句子的主语一般比较短，英语句子的主语一般比较长。
